Good Romantic Anime Series?

I'm basically up for anything romantic, but try not to recommend anything too sexual, in case my mom walks in the room and sees, but if there's like one or two scenes out of the whole thing, then I guess it would be okay. Its not mandatory, but I do prefer it to be a girl as the main character, and Reverse Harem and Love triangle are my favorite genres. I like it best when the characters are in middle to high school in age, but that doesn't really matter. Also not too big on Shounen-Ai or Yaoi.



I have seen all these, plus all mini series that came from them, sequels, movies and specials, but I did not enjoy all of these, so please don't give recs based on them, I just list them so you know what not to rec.:

Phantom: Requiem for the phantom, is my favorite anime series. You can find it easily on Animefreak.tv. It's an action, romance, tragedy kind of thing. It's got a lot of fighting, but the romance scenes are kawaii desu ne!
Just to add, it isn't set in a high school, it's also got a mafia/gang/yakusa story line to it. Not sure if that's you thing or not.
