Hi there: I am currently searching high and low for my next gaming "experience" and was hoping someone might be able to help me find it.
My favorite games so far are the Divinity saga, Bioshock, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, Prototype and the Harry Potter series. Games with an amazing atmosphere.
What I am looking for is a game with a great role playing experience.
I have tried the latest Oblivion game, some of the Star wars games, Left for dead 2, Batman: The Dark knight, but none of them made it to my Top 10 ;)
I don麓t really like war/combat games like Call of duty and such.
Diablo, two worlds, dragon age, tried them and didn't like them - "Platform games" and switching between different characters ruins the gaming experience for me.
Things like Dead space is a no go - Fatal frame and Silent Hill as well - too scary for me.
Please help me, what should I try next? I am completely blank.
A friend of mine suggested something called "The Witcher" Is it any good?
Thank you so much in advance, any help is appreciated =)What kind of PC game should I try next?
What about Mass Effect 2? Definitely will provide a great role playing experienceWhat kind of PC game should I try next?
I have found "The Witcher 2" to be good so far. I haven't had time to play it much. And I haven't played the first "Witcher" at all, but I understand that Witcher 2 is just a continuation of the first one.
Witcher 2 seems to be a well thought out game. It is also less expensive than a lot of other games that are inferior to it. (it was 30 dollars). What kind of PC game should I try next?
It depends on what you like. I really like World of Warcraft. But it is pretty expensive.
you could try the elder scrolls morrowind game of the year, this is a great game.this doesn't have the weapons and armor leveling system like oblivion,if you can find daedric weapons and armor at level 1,then you can use them and there aren't 6 different versions of the weapon.also with game of the year you can go to the capitol city of mournhold, meet and work for almalexia and king helseth.you can also travel to the island of solsthiem and play in the snow, possibly become a werewolf and lots more.i think this is a much better game than oblivion, oblivion was good but not as great as morrowind.you mentioned playing two worlds was it 1,2 or both, because i thought 2 was a much better game but i did enjoy them both.also you mentioned the divinity saga, did you play the newer ones, divine divinity ego draconis or the dragon knight saga.the dragon knight saga has a previously unreleased dlc called flames of vengeance on it which looks to be really good.im not sure but you could see if dark messiah of might and magic is on the pc.and if your looking for some thing really different check out the myst series, these will put your mind to work.hope this helps.
