Xbox 360 game with a good stroy?

Whats a good game for the 360 with an interesting story which one could care about?

CoD is fun, but to a point. Now I am interested in playing a game where the story or atmosphere takes center stage and where the characters are memorable in significant and emotional ways.

FF13 (Crappy ending, in my opinion)

Bad Company 2 (funny people, those guys)

Fallout 3

Dead Space



I'm thinking of Eternal Sonata and Metro 2033 as a story driven game, but have no idea how good they are. Really, what I am looking for is something like Bioshock's story or atmosphere. Character development is important to me and for some reason, I teared up at the end of the good ending of Boishock 2.

So what's a good story driven game for the 360? (I don't really care about how old games are as long as the story is interesting and character development is abundant)Xbox 360 game with a good stroy?

I know you said Xbox 360 but I had to mention those, Planescape and Baldur's Gate blew my mind. Planescape is mostly dialogue though, the combat system is not very good but thankfully there isn't much of it, the story is where it's at. Baldur's Gate is a nice mix of great story/dialogue and great combat. Grim Fandango is just a great adventure game with a really nice atmosphere and good writing and clever humor. Have fun out there.

assissin creed, 2, and brother hood all great story mode based games



drake uncharted 1 an 2, are stunning with meny twists and turns. it also won game of the year so u cant go wrong with that one. 3 on the way



God of war 3 if u havint played this look it up now just to get a taste. the story keeps u invovled through out but this game is just fuking sick in ever way.

Everybody likes oblivion even though ive never played it...



Elder Scrolls is also a favorite.



Assassins Creed brotherhood is one of my favorites. The ending is ehh but i watched it on a youtube gameplay and havent beaten it yet so who knows!

Crysis 2.....Grand Theft Auto if you're into those games. Brink has a good storyline but the game overall disappointed me in general
this may not help to an immediate answer, but Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim , is coming out 11-11-11. So it may not really help you right now, but i would defiantly get that game
In my opinion, FF13 has a great story and a memorable ending. BTW if you feel like it ended on a cliffhanger - THEY'RE MAKING FF13-2!!!! Play that game!

there is lots of good games 4 xbox but 1 with a good story u should try any of the assasans creed
Each assassins creed game is very good with the third having good multiplayer also. Red dead redemption very much the same also gears of war games are extremely good with good multiplayer aswell but just story I would have to say probably red dead with the undead nightmare add on is best although I would advise finishing the regular campaign first as there are characters that are in undead nightmare that you would only know through that campaign also undead nightmare although fun does kind of go off the regular story hard to explain but once played it's understandable
ok the greatest game i've ever played is metal gear solid buts thats for ps3.. the mgs series are just outstanding...

cod isn't really a good story line at all actually... bc2 did have a significant squad...

assassin's creed its story line is REALLY good possibly the best game on both xbox and ps3 in my opinion because it like anscestors of this guy and like part 1 explains it and part 2 and brotherhood are really good... i recommend it if you want to feel the power of the assassin... your assassin... he goes through a lot in all parts of ac and he is very important...
